An informational interview is a great way to explore whether that career is something you'd want to pursue. They're a great tool that can be used by students and adults. You may know someone, or you could ask a school counselor to help you find someone to connect with. These steps may be helpful as you set up an interview. You could meet online, for coffee, or for a meal. It can be more formal of an interview, or something you do more informally as you gather with family, friends, and acquaintances around holidays or throughout the year.
